The Project

CPB Constructors, in Alliance partnership with Sedgman, SC Joint Venture (SCJV) has been selected by BHP to undertake the Western Ridge Crusher Project, involving construction of a new primary crusher, a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker, and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30Mtpa. The Project is located on Nyiyaparli Country, approximately 21 Kilometres southwest of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Works will go through until mid-2026.

Your opportunity

Join CPB Contractors as a full-time employee and contribute to the success of one of Australia's largest contractors. Engage with industry leaders from project start-up, working on a fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) basis with a balanced 20 days on and 8 days off schedule.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

• Rigger with proven experience in construction and structural steel FIFO (2-3 years minimum)
• High Risk Work Licence (Rigger Basic, Intermediate, and/or Advanced)
• Hold unit of competency CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safety in the construction industry (White Card)
• Hold a High Risk EWP ticket & WAH ticket (desirable)
• The ability to read and interpret lift plans/procedures.
• Flexible & adaptable to changing environments
• Strong safety awareness
