Make an impact at Serco
As an Aboriginal Language Teacher in the Rehabilitation and Reintegration team, you'll make a positive impact by:
- Facilitating language experiences in a culturally sensitive way to enhance the well-being of students.
- Delivering scheduled training and education in accordance with the prison's core day.
- Designing, planning, delivering, and evaluating education programs for prisoners.
- Managing the administrative functions and requirements of the role in a timely and accurate manner.
- Actively participating in operational meetings, including Education and RTO meetings.
- Developing, updating, and managing student education resources within relevant security requirements of the center.

To be successful in this role you'll have:
- Experience in teaching language to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, enhancing their well-being.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with varied stakeholders.
- A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
- The ability to meet and exceed quality standards in a secure environment.
