Your Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager/Supervisor within the commercial construction sector on new builds including the associated civil works for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and WHS regulations.
  • Ability to lead and motivate on-site teams including subcontractors.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects on time, within budget and to a high-quality standard.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid knowledge and experience using construction management software and Microsoft Office suite including MS Project.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise end-to-end delivery of commercial construction projects, from site establishment through to practical completion.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers on-site, proactively addressing issues or delays to keep projects on track and to achieve project deadlines as per the programme.
  • Conduct and document site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all WHS legislation, company policies, and procedures.
  • Carry out regular site inspections to maintain quality control and safety standards.
  • Liaise closely with the Project Manager, providing accurate updates on site progress, risks, and resource requirements.
