About Us

We are a boutique quality focused residential building company based in the Eastern Suburbs. We are recognized for our quality, attention to detail and trustworthiness, and require staff to fit in with these established core standards.

We are currently in the growth stages of our business and are looking for a qualified and experienced residential construction leading hand carpenter

Role & Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must require the following skills:

· Minimum 5-year experience as a Carpenter hands on - high end residential projects.

· Trade background essential in carpentry and/or building: You will be required to do all facets of carpentry - framing, fix out, etc

· You will be expected to lead the apprentices and other sub contractor chippies when they are on site

· Own Vehicle, Tools, excellent ability to read and interpret plans

· An excellent understanding of BCA standards and requirements

· OH&S Experience

· You must be a tradesman with an eye for detail, have proven high quality skills and produce outstanding quality of work.

· Excellent communication and personable skills to engage with the site foreman and your co - workers

· You must have a personality that can work well with others, be willing and able to foster relationships with the connections we have, and overall have a desire to work within our company long-term as the possibility exists for continuing work

· You must have excellent organisation skills, be able to prioritise work, and be able to work independently.

Experience:

· Carpentry / Building: 10 years (Preferred)

The Role

· Start Immediately

.Full-time, Contract

· $2,600 - $3000 / weekly depending on experience

· Hrs 7am – 3:30 pm mon – Friday

· All around Eastern Suburbs based job

· Full responsibility of apprentices and other subby carpenters, reporting to an site based foreman

· Opportunity for long term permanent role
