Airbnb Short-Term Rental Cleaner – Ongoing Position

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive cleaner to service our growing portfolio of Airbnb properties across Sydney. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and ideally some basic household maintenance/repair skills.

Key Details


• Hours: Primarily between 10:00am – 3:00pm, 7 days a week (aligning with guest check-out/check-in windows).

• Flexibility: Must be available across weekdays and weekends as required.

• Location: Central Sydney – ideally based between Marrickville and Mosman NSW for ease of travel.

• Requirements:

  - Own car and valid driver's licence.

  - Must hold an Australian working visa with at least 2 years remaining, or full residency/citizenship.

  - Fluent in spoken and written English.

This position may particularly suit a parent looking for school-hours work (10am–3pm).

Responsibilities


• General cleaning of Airbnb properties to high hospitality standards.

• Changeover of beds, washing and preparing linen, towels, and amenities.

• Resetting kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas for new guests.

• Reporting and addressing minor household maintenance/repairs.

• Monthly deeper cleans (including ovens, windows, skirting boards, under furniture, etc.).

• Communicating promptly if stock, supplies, or repairs are required.

Support Provided


• Equipment and cleaning products can be supplied.

• Trial period offered with clear pay and feedback to ensure the role is a good fit.

• Consistent, reliable hours (10am–3pm every day) to suit school schedules, parents, and part-time workers.

Pay Rate

The going hourly rate for professional Airbnb cleaners in Sydney ranges between $30 – $40 per hour depending on experience, flexibility, and ability to handle minor repairs. Pay will be negotiated fairly based on experience.
