Cyclo Group provides comprehensive commercial design, approval, and construction solutions, specialising in Veterinary, Animal Care, Medical, and Human Services Industries. The primary objective of this role is to strategically cultivate and manage relationships, assess market dynamics, and identify new business opportunities that align with Cyclo Group's long-term growth objectives. You'll play a critical role in expanding our client portfolio and advancing our strategic priorities, ensuring a robust pipeline of prospects.
With a focus on both business development and market intelligence, you will validate and prioritise high-value opportunities, strengthening commercial partnerships with key stakeholders including direct end users, commercial agents, project managers, third-party referral agencies, and industry networking groups.
You will be accountable for consistently delivering high-quality opportunities that drive sustained revenue growth and profitability, ensuring that Cyclo Group remains competitive and positioned for continued success in the market.
About you:

The ideal candidate will bring:
- Experience in sales, particularly within the commercial construction or fit-out sector, commercial real estate, or related sectors, including roles focused on sales, design development, or project management.
- Solid connections within the medical industry.
- Knowledge of construction, town planning, or architecture. You'll be able to discuss the buildability and permissibility of a client's concept.
- Proven expertise in managing and nurturing high-level client relationships, with a track record of success in client-facing environments.
- Mastery of lead management processes, with the ability to prioritise and capitalise on strategic opportunities whilst managing multiple matters and clients.
- A strong commitment to exceptional customer engagement, delivering value by collaborating strategically and fostering lasting relationships.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate business USPs and strengths, effectively influencing target clients and capitalising on emerging opportunities.
- Resilience and superior problem solving skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, while still interacting effectively within the BD / Client Relationships team and with our multi-disciplinary design team.
Some travel will be required as part of the role, including to our Head Office in the Illawarra.
A competitive base salary will apply, with the opportunity for commission based on new business. The role will also have a Company vehicle.
