PYBAR – a Thiess Company, is a mining services provider with core competencies in metalliferous underground hard rock mining. With origins dating back to 1993, our success is based on safe, rapid underground infrastructure development and consistent, reliable production. We deliver a range of projects, from large established mining operations to greenfield developments across Australia. The services we provide range from mine development, production, cable bolting and drilling, raise boring, shotcreting and fleet.

THE OPPORTUNITY

PYBAR are currently seeking expressions of interest for an exciting upcoming project in New South Wales.

We are inviting interest from experienced candidates across a range of underground mining positions, including:

• Shift Supervisors
• Jumbo Operators
• Bogger Operators
• Charge Up Operators
• Service Crew members
• Fitters

These roles will operate on a 2:2 roster, with points of hire available from all major airports and cities across New South Wales and Queensland.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Demonstrated recent experience in underground operations (Essential)
• Proven experience working on underground heavy equipment (Essential)
• Shift Supervisors must hold NSW underground Shift Supervisor Ticket
• Current NSW Security Clearance and BEUL (for Charge up roles and above)
• A strong focus and commitment to safety
• A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
• Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence
• Hold or be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance.
