Commercial Cleaner – Casual (Evenings, 10–20 hrs per week)

About the role

Midas Cleaning Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team over the Christmas/School holidays with the opportunity to stay on after the holiday for the right person. This casual role offers 4-10 hours per week, working evening shifts starting between 5-7pm. You will be working independently across commercial sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

This would be a perfect role for parents that want a bit more income without sacrificing too much family time. Shifts normally range from 2 - 4 hours occasionally longer.

We are looking for someone that is available over December / January to support the existing team. If you have a holiday booked over this time, this may not be the right position for you.

Key responsibilities

  • General office and commercial cleaning
  • Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and lunchrooms
  • Vacuuming, mopping, and dusting
  • Emptying bins and maintaining hygiene standards
  • Following cleaning checklists to ensure consistency
  • Securing sites and ensuring they are left safe

What we're looking for

  • High attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Reliability and ability to work unsupervised
  • Good time management skills
  • Current Clear Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Own reliable transport, mobile phone and licence
  • Australian work rights
