Makibe Australia is currently looking for a Trade Qualified Machine Operator with a background in metal fabrication to join a small niche specialized team in Wetherill Park.

  • This role is a casual role view to permanency.
  • Dayshift (from 7am)- 38hour week, must be flexible with start and finish times
  • $50 - $60 per hour casual, depending on qualifications & experience

Essential -

  • Trade Qualified, in the metal manufacturing industry
  • experience in operating an aluminium plate saw or other types of metal cutting machinery.
  • Experience working with sheet metal
  • Previous machine operation experience required
  • forklift experience
  • Ability to supervise staff
  • Mechanically minded with WHS experience around machinery

To be successful:

  • you will have a minimum 3 years' experience in a metal manufacturing industry
  • must be able to set up and operate machinery for maximum efficiency
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Reliability with a strong work ethic, ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
