Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Control System Specialist at Consoft Automation in the Greater Albury-Wodonga Area. Tasks include:

  • PLC Programming
  • SCADA Configuration
  • MES Configuration
  • Network Configuration
  • Technical Documentation
  • QA Testing
  • Commissioning & Support

Essential requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent technical experience
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience with PLC Programming (any platform).
  • Excellent communication skills

Please note: You must be confident with programming in ladder logic and able to demonstrate this ability.

Highly Desired:

Technical skills:

  • Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC & HMI Software
  • Experience with Schneider and AVEVA PLC & SCADA Software
  • Experience with Siemens PLC & HMI SCADA Software
  • Experience with Ignition SCADA Software
  • Knowledge of industrial protocols: Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, or OPC.
  • Experience with higher level programming skills e.g. C++, C#, JAVA, Python
  • Experience with SQL databases
