ABOUT THE ROLE

Based out of our Baranduda VIC 3691 workshop, you'll work within a dynamic team to deliver electrical diagnostics, new installs, programming and repairs on heavy vehicles, cranes and equipment.

KEY DUTIES

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults on heavy vehicles, cranes and equipment
  • Wire and install trays, cranes and tailgate loaders; integrate controls and safety devices
  • Perform new installation wiring and system programming
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Liaise with OEM suppliers for parts and technical support
  • Mentor and assist other technicians
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records

REQUIREMENTS

  • Trade-qualified Auto Electrician
  • Strong electrical diagnostic aptitude; exposure to CAN bus and hydraulic-electrical interfaces preferred
  • Experience on heavy vehicles, cranes or mobile plant
  • Proven WHS focus and safe work habits
  • Organised, clean work practices and sound documentation skills
  • Effective communicator and team player

ESSENTIAL
