ABOUT THE ROLE
Based out of our Baranduda VIC 3691 workshop, you'll work within a dynamic team to deliver electrical diagnostics, new installs, programming and repairs on heavy vehicles, cranes and equipment.
KEY DUTIES
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on heavy vehicles, cranes and equipment
- Wire and install trays, cranes and tailgate loaders; integrate controls and safety devices
- Perform new installation wiring and system programming
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- Liaise with OEM suppliers for parts and technical support
- Mentor and assist other technicians
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
REQUIREMENTS
- Trade-qualified Auto Electrician
- Strong electrical diagnostic aptitude; exposure to CAN bus and hydraulic-electrical interfaces preferred
- Experience on heavy vehicles, cranes or mobile plant
- Proven WHS focus and safe work habits
- Organised, clean work practices and sound documentation skills
- Effective communicator and team player

ESSENTIAL
Sound electrical knowledge OR trade background OR previous experience in a similar role.
