The Role

Crown is the ultimate destination for dining experiences, offering a wide range of options from casual to premium. There's something to suit every taste.

We have multiple opportunities available for Commis Chefs to join Crown including; Casual, Part-Time & Full-Time basis.

Experience in the following cuisines is highly regarded:

  • Asian Cuisine (Wok Specialists)
  • Japanese (Fine Dining)
  • Australian Modern Cuisine
  • Buffet Style

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard
  • Support Senior Chefs with daily food preparation and service
  • Adhere to Crown's Food & Hygiene standards at all times
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment

About You

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for food
  • Resilience and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of HACCP policies & procedures 
  • A positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Availability to work across a 24-hour, 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays

Qualifications

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Cert IV in Kitchen Management
