Your Opportunity
As a Casual Clinical Facilitator, you will be engaged in a current nursing practice to facilitate student learning and development of knowledge and skills in a clinical simulation environment, ensuring all aspects of student training, supervision and assessment are met. You will:
- Make an academic and professional contribution to the teaching program and service delivery of the discipline including integration of theory with practice and achievement of expected outcomes.
- Link with industry, schools, universities, community, other TAFE and VET providers.
- Maintaining currency with industry practices, workplace delivery and contemporary teaching methodologies and philosophies.
- Working in an environment of ongoing change and continuous improvement
TAFE Queensland regularly has vacancies (short and long term) for educators in various qualification delivery areas. This talent pool may be open for up to 12 months and is for opportunities as they become available.
Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Post Graduate qualification in a related area;
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration;
- Registered Nurse, with a minimum three (3) years current and broad clinical nursing experience; and
- Experience in provision of clinical education to undergraduate nursing students or other relevant teaching experience.
Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.
Highly Desirable Requirements
- Clinical expertise in an area of Nursing practice
- High level of digital literacy skills across various platforms (online Learning Managment Systems)
