About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Sydney Aluminium as an Estimating Specialist. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing expert sales and estimating services to our customers. You will play a key role in driving the growth and success of our aluminium windows and doors business.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Responding to customer enquiries, providing technical advice, and preparing accurate and detailed quotes for aluminium windows and doors
  • Collaborating with the production team to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying new sales opportunities
  • Contributing to product development and suggesting improvements to enhance our offerings
  • Supporting the wider sales and operations team as required
What We're Looking For
  • Extensive experience in estimating within the construction or building products industry, ideally with aluminium windows and doors
  • Strong technical knowledge of aluminium products, including performance specifications and installation requirements
  • Knowledge of Australian Building Codes (NCC/BCA) and relevant Australian Standards (AS 2047, AS 1288), as well as BASIX/NATHERS glazing requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability to deliver precise quotes
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a drive for excellence
  • Proficiency with software tools such as V6/Logikal for estimating and project management
