Your new role
Are you seeking a role where your work truly makes a difference? Join our industry-leading metals recycling business and be part of a team that's shaping a more sustainable future.
Reporting to the Yard Manager, you'll play a key role by safely operating machinery to support the efficient processing of scrap metal. We're looking for safety-focused individuals to join our Port Hedland yard on a 2-week on, 1-week off FIFO roster—an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and advance within a dynamic and forward-thinking company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Load & unload trucks, skip bins and trailers
- Operate equipment, including forklift and/or excavator (where licenced)
- Ensure customers receive a high level of service
- Grading and sorting materials
- Demonstrating personal responsibility for and commitment to OH&S policies and procedures
Essential Criteria:
- Forklift (LF) licence (or a willingness to learn)
- Ability to work independently
- A can-do attitude, you will be open to undertaking training in order to diversify your skills
- Excellent attendance, reliability and attention to detail
