Northern Health are seeking applications for a motivated and suitably experienced HIS Administrative Assistant to join our team based at 230 Cooper Street for 24 hours a week on a Monday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role:
This role requires a suitable candidate to work in an administrative role within the Coding and Casemix team based at 230 Cooper Street, Epping.
The days and hours of work are:
- Monday: 7:30am to 4:00pm
- Thursday: 7:30am to 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am to 4:00pm
The HIS Administrative Assistant is responsible forproviding high quality and efficient administrative support to multidisciplinary cancer meetings (MDM's) and to the Shared Care Survivorship clinics. The position description is attached which outlines the duties involved in this position.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in typing, word-processing and use of computer packages including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access).
- Exceptional organisational ability, time management and prioritisation skills, and ability to adapt to changes.
- Demonstrated commitment to a high quality of customer service whilst maintaining strict confidentiality.
