The role
This is a dynamic opportunity to lead a team that champions integrity, transparency, and accountability across the Department of Planning, Housing and Environment. As
Manager Probity
, you'll work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across departmental agencies and higher risk corporate functions to embed probity principles into critical business activities and decision-making processes.
You'll be at the forefront of shaping ethical governance, navigating complex probity matters, and balancing robust compliance with the fast-paced demands of a dynamic public sector environment. Your leadership will help drive a culture of ethical decision-making, proactive stakeholder engagement, and consistent best practice across the department.

What you will bring to the role
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of ethical, transparent, and accountable decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing across departments and navigating higher risk corporate functions.
- Deep understanding of probity, governance, and integrity frameworks, with the ability to apply them in complex and politically sensitive environments.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of delivering practical, defensible advice on complex probity matters.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable guidance for diverse audiences.
What is an essential requirement:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience and ability in probity, corruption control, and corporate governance.
