Role: Promotions & Planning Analyst

Location: Sydney NSW 2000

Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000

We're working with a global name in the beauty and cosmetics space that's looking to bring on a Promotions & Planning Analyst in their Sydney office. This role is a perfect match for someone with strong commercial acumen, a knack for organisation, and the ability to keep trade activity running smoothly.

This role acts as the conduit between sales, marketing, and supply, ensuring promotional activities are well-planned, well-executed, and deliver real impact. To succeed, you'll not only bring strong technical capability but also fit seamlessly into a team that thrives on open communication, trust, and shared goals. What you'll be doing:

  • Managing all promotional activity across key brands and categories
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing to align trade plans with business goals
  • Coordinating timelines, approvals, and communication across departments
  • Analysing trade performance and providing insights for future planning
  • Ensuring compliance with trade spend guidelines and reporting on ROI

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in trade planning, category management, demand planning, or a related commercial function
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong data analysis and reporting capability
  • Must have exceptional skills and experience with Excel and at least intermediate skills with Power BI
  • Experience in FMCG or consumer goods highly regarded
