The opportunity

Join the team at McGuire Hotels' RQ's Tavern in Robina, Queensland as a casual Gaming Staff member. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the gaming facilities within the tavern.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and efficient service to all customers in the gaming area
  • Ensure the gaming machines and related equipment are well-maintained and functioning properly
  • Assist customers with the use of gaming machines and respond to any queries or issues they may have
  • Monitor gaming activities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
  • Assist with the reconciliation of gaming machine cash and the completion of relevant paperwork
  • Contribute to the overall positive atmosphere and experience for customers within the tavern

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience working in a customer service or gaming-related role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of gaming machines and related equipment
  • Knowledge of relevant gaming regulations and responsible gambling practices
  • Commitment to working as part of a team to contribute to the overall success of the venue
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
