The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Leading Hand to join our construction team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys leading from the front, and wants to play a key part in delivering exceptional outdoor spaces. You'll work closely with supervisors and project managers to coordinate site activities, lead crews, and ensure our high standards of safety, quality, and teamwork are upheld.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support on-site teams to deliver high-quality landscape and civil construction outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Site Supervisor to plan and sequence daily works.
  • Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project schedules.
  • Maintain strong site presentation and adherence to WHS standards.
  • Oversee quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with the broader project team and subcontractors.
  • Lead by example, promoting teamwork, respect, and professionalism.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Leading Hand or senior tradesperson within landscape or civil construction.
  • Trade qualification in landscape construction, civil works, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Strong practical understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team on-site.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Current White Card and driver's licence essential.
  • A proactive, positive attitude and commitment to maintaining Solutions+ standards.
