What you will be doing

As a Cadastral Surveyor with RPS, you will:

  • Deliver expert advice and oversight across a range of surveying projects
  • Manage and conduct fieldwork, calculations, data processing, and end-to-end project delivery
  • Support the Survey Manager with resource planning, mentoring, and team leadership
  • Build strong client relationships within the infrastructure and development sectors
  • Represent RPS professionally on-site with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders

About you

We are looking for an experienced Cadastral Surveyor who brings both technical expertise and a proactive approach. You will have:

  • A degree in Spatial Sciences and registration with the QLD Surveyors Board
  • A current Cadastral Surveyor endorsement in QLD, or eligibility to transfer from another state/NZ
  • 5+ years of diverse surveying experience, ideally with cadastral projects
  • Strong project management skills with proven success in client and staff leadership
  • Proficiency in surveying equipment and software (Trimble instruments and 12D preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Australian work rights (sponsorship is not available for this role)
