- Location: Darwin (Palmerstone) - Larrakia Land with local travel
- Employment Type: Full-time | 38 hours a week
- Contract: Maximum Term Contact | December 2025 to August 2026
- Salary: Social & Community Services Level 4 | $44.58 to $47.97 per hour + Super
- Benefits: Salary packaging up to $18,550 + career development

About The Team
Our Housing Support Programs Team is a passionate group of professionals committed to empowering young people and older women through safe, stable housing and holistic support. We work collaboratively, guided by trauma-informed and feminist principles, to create pathways to independence and wellbeing. Join a team that values inclusion, advocacy, and meaningful change.
About This Opportunity
In this role, you will deliver strength-based case management and tenancy support to empower young people and older women toward safe, independent housing, while connecting them with essential services and rental pathways.
In This Role, You Will
- Deliver comprehensive case management including intake, crisis support, risk and safety planning under YWCA frameworks.
- Support housing stability by helping clients maintain tenancies and transition across housing options.
- Build respectful relationships with clients and colleagues, embracing cultural and linguistic diversity.
- Strengthen service coordination through partnerships with external agencies to enhance client outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to program planning, implementation, and review.
About You
Your experience may include:
- Tertiary qualifications in community services or social work, with proven case management experience.
- Strong understanding of the homelessness and housing sector, including systemic challenges and supports.
- Able to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively across diverse teams and communities.
- Change-driven and adaptable, with a passion for advocacy and women's rights.
