Position: Data Integration Technical Engineer

Location: Sydney

Duration: 6 months

Detailed Job Description

Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of high-quality integrations. You will deliver data integration using Informatica. As lead integration engineer this role is focused on developing integrations in a fast-moving environment.

This position will ensure the delivery of these artefacts through design, development, unit testing, documentation, defect triage and transition to BAU.

Additionally, you will:

  • Analyse and translate business requirements into technical specifications for data integration.
  • Design, develop, and test Informatica workflows and mappings to extract, transform, and load data.
  • Work as lead integration engineer providing mentoring and technical leadership to others.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality throughout the integration process.
  • Collaborate with functional teams and business analysts to understand data requirements and resolve integration challenges.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.

Must Have Skills:

  • Experience as an integration engineer with a strong focus on data integration.
  • Experience working as a lead engineer mentoring others to deliver solutions.
  • Extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing complex ETL processes.
  • Experience using Informatica to create integration solutions.
  • Deep understanding of SAP data structures and integration points, particularly in the areas of procurement and finance.
  • Experience with data mapping, transformation, and cleansing techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience working within an agile team.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in writing technical documentation.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience delivering Procure to Pay (P2P) integrations for a previous Coupa implementation.
  • Experience with other integration platforms and tools.
  • Experience with industry standard tools, such as Jira and Confluence
  • Previous experience in a health care environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in computing.
