Purpose of the Position

GHS Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Blast & Painters for site and in town works in and around Geraldton and the Midwest Region of Western Australia. GHS has a number of of ongoing site work within the region, and we are looking to expand our workforce.

Geographical Coverage

Regional Western Australia.

Licence Requirements

  • Trade Certificate (Cert II in Engineering - Surface Preparation & Finishing or Cert II in Surface Preparation and Coating Applications) - desirable
  • Must have Industrial paint & blast experience
  • Working at Heights
  • Forklift (desirable)
  • Construction Industry White Card
  • Current Police Clearance (obtained within the past 12 months)
  • MSIC or ability to obtain a MSIC

Other Abilities

  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Comfortable working over water
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and with a team
  • Mining experience highly preferred
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test
