Herston Private Imaging is proud to launch its new radiology facility collocated with Herston Private Hospital, Icon Cancer Care and Herston Specialist Suites.

We are seeking warm, patient centric, Sonographers, CT, XR & MRI Radiographers with an eye for detail to support our team and patients.

Herston Private Imaging

Herston Private Imaging will open its doors in November 2025. It will proudly offer Siemens 3T MRI and Canon Ultrasound, XR, Cone Beam CT and OPG.

It has partnered and collocated with Icon to provide MRI & CT simulation for Queensland's first private Gamma Knife cancer treatment centre.

Other collocated specialties include Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery, Fertility, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Maxillofacial Surgery, Pain Medicine, Pediatric Dentistry, Orthopedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately perform diagnostic and procedural examinations within your modality
  • Prioritise patient quality, safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists, imaging staff, administration staff and referring practitioners
  • Maintain high standards of clinical quality, equipment quality assurance, compliance of regulatory standards and patient privacy
  • Contribute to and collaborate with the team to establish efficient workflows, processes and procedures

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Medical Radiation Science (or equivalent)
  • AHPRA and / or ASAR registration
  • Current or eligibility for Queensland Radiation Use Licence (Radiographers)
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience within your modality
  • Full working rights in Australia required
  • Experience using RIS and PACS
  • Excellent time management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
