An exciting opportunity is available to join a growing and successful Australian business.

We are looking for a CNC Machinist/Programmer with experience in Mill-Turn Lathe applications at our Aldus Engineering factory based at West Heidelberg, Victoria.

This role is responsible for manufacturing components to specification as per job sheet and in line with production schedule. We specialise with onsite machining under a quality accredited management system.

To be successful in the role we are looking for someone with:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in Trade.
  • Previous experience with Okuma CNC's would be looked upon favourably
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Manufacturing)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of production methodologies, Lean production fundamentals and quality principles advantageous
  • A positive attitude and self-motivator
  • Strong communication skills
