We are looking to immediately fill a permanent full-time position for a skilled Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic.

About The Company

Cold Front Air Conditioning has been established since 2012 and due to continued growth, we are looking to add another skilled person to the team. Cold Front carry out installation of both ducted and split air conditioning systems from leading brands such as Daikin, Fujitsu and Braemar for some of Queensland's Major home builders.

The Role

What we need from you:

  • Experience in Airconditioning Installation
  • Cert III in Refrigeration Mechanic
  • Establish job requirements from drawings and specifications
  • Installing and repairing the components of cooling and refrigeration systems, including compressors, motors, condensers, and evaporators.
  • Working with hand and power tools to install refrigeration or air conditioning components
  • Assemble and install pipe work for refrigeration/air-conditioning systems
  • Measuring and cutting piping, and connecting piping using welding equipment
  • Fill the systems with gas or fluid using vacuum pumps and fill with refrigerant in line with regulations and governing procedures.
  • Conduct operational tests on refrigeration systems, checking mechanisms and making adjustments
  • Repair and maintain systems; record the cause of malfunctions and the action taken
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Open Drivers Licence
  • White card
