We're looking for a Barista / Kitchen All Rounder to join our team at The Station Grocer.

This is a casual role with 4-5 shifts per week, including weekends.

Position Details:

  • Shift times: 5am starts (weekdays), 6am starts (weekends). 5-6 hour shifts
  • Pay rates: $35.18/hr weekdays (20+) | $45.89/hr weekends (20+) junior rates apply > Age 20
  • Roster: 3-4 shifts per week (including weekends)

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and assemble fresh sandwiches, rolls, wraps, baguettes, and salads.
  • Cook breakfast items on the grill.
  • Make quality espresso coffee and provide friendly, efficient service to our customers.
  • Keep the kitchen and coffee area clean, organised, and food-safe at all times.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous kitchen, food prep, or café/barista experience.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
  • Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain one during onboarding).
  • Team player with a reliable, positive attitude.
  • Available for early mornings and weekends.
