We have an opportunity to join our team in our New Farm based private practice. We require an enthusiastic and confident person to join our reception team. We have a fantastic work environment and work ethic and seek a like-minded individual to fit into our clinic.

We are a thriving Health and Wellbeing Practice and have been established in the New Farm area for the last 20 years. We offer modern, fully equipped offices and, most importantly, a supportive and welcoming work environment where teamwork is key to ensuring we meet the needs of our clients.

Amongst other duties, your main responsibilities in the clinic will include;

  • Welcoming patients with a positive and professional attitude
  • Answering phone and email enquiries
  • Assisting patients with making appointments
  • Processing payments and health fund claims (HICAPS)
  • Balancing financials at end of shift
  • Managing patient flow into and out of the treatment rooms
  • Supporting our practitioners with administrative tasks
  • Ordering of stock and equipment
  • Lending a caring ear or comforting shoulder to those patients in need

The position is high paced and as the successful applicant possess;

·       Outstanding time management skills

·       Good interpersonal skills and telephone manner

·       Ability to follow instructions implicitly

·       Ability to work well within a team

·       Impeccable presentation and punctuality

·       Basic computer knowledge essential

·       Genuine desire to learn and grow

·       Experience in a healthcare or wellness setting is regarded but not essential — training provided for the right person.

Hours

The role is for a casual receptionist for 15-20 hours per week, with room for growth for the right applicant.

Typically shifts are no less than 5 hours and are divided into morning or afternoon shifts. It is possible to do a double shift with a lunch break in between.

The clinic is open 6 days a week with hours set below:

Monday-Friday

Morning shifts:      6:45am- 11:45am

Afternoon shifts:   1:45pm - 6:45pm

Saturdays

7am to 11:45am
