Absolute Pace (AP) is a respected name in precision automotive manufacturing, producing world-class performance vehicles including the iconic P427 and GT40 replicas. Based at our modern Arundel facility, we combine advanced composite manufacturing with hand-crafted attention to detail.

We are currently seeking an experienced Composite Laminator to join our production team. This role involves hand laminating vehicle bodies and small composite components to the highest standards of quality and finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Hand laminate carbon fibre and fibreglass components using wet-lay or vacuum-assist processes.
• Prepare moulds, cut fabrics, mix resins, and perform lay-up to specified schedules.
• Trim, de-mould, and finish parts to a high cosmetic and structural standard.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring compliance with workplace safety.
• Work closely with the composites and assembly teams to meet production deadlines.

About You

• Proven experience in composite hand laminating (marine, automotive, or aerospace industries preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing top-quality finishes.
• Ability to read and follow lay-up schedules or build instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a small, focused team.
• Knowledge of mould preparation, vacuum bagging, and trimming processes an advantage.

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
