We're seeking an experienced and reliable Machine Operator to join our busy Wacol team on night shift (10:00pm – 6:00am). This is a full-time, permanent position offering long-term job security and career growth opportunities.

The Role

In this fast-paced environment, you'll be responsible for operating and setting up machinery and equipment, and assisting with warehousing and distribution tasks using forklifts and overhead cranes.

What you'll do:
  • Operate and set up machinery and processing equipment
  • Handle, load, and move steel products safely using forklifts and cranes
  • Perform general warehouse duties and support dispatch operations
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace
  • Work collaboratively with your team to meet production goals
What we're looking for:
  • Previous experience in a similar manufacturing or machine operation role
  • Current forklift licence (essential)
  • Experience with steel products or overhead cranes (advantageous)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
