Your new role

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the planning function in relation to preventative maintenance and breakdowns for our large mobile mining truck fleet Duties include but are not limited to;

  • Manage the day-to-day short and long-term maintenance planning and scheduling activities
  • Ensure Maintenance plans and schedules meet company objectives and requirements
  • Escalation of urgent repairs to the Supervisor for immediate repair approval
  • Defect management in line with contract requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive experience in Maintenance Planning for ultra class truck fleet - CAT796, CAT789, CAT777, Liebher T264, Hitachi 5000
  • Relevant Trade Qualification
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Work, Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (MEX) and/or Enterprise resource planning system JDE highly desirable
  • Current Standard 11 and QLD Drivers Licence.
