Brisbane, Queensland, Australia 21 Triangles Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

About Manbulloo

Manbulloo is proudly Australia's largest grower of Kensington Pride Mangoes. Our dynamic group of passionate professionals strive to continually provide the best quality premium fruit to our Australian and export customers. There is perhaps no better place to learn about the industry, or to use existing knowledge and skills, with plenty of training and autonomy available.

About the Role

Delivering top-quality fruit to our customers requires planning, analysis and coordination. Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring stock levels and movements across the supply chain.
  • Monitoring and ordering consumables.
  • Booking and coordinating transport.
  • Working with dashboards and reports that communicate vital information and trends quickly and effectively.
  • Analyzing and verifying data.
  • Following up supply chain issues, current and predicted.
  • Being the first point of contact for supply chain partners.
  • Regularly communicating with farms, suppliers and team members.

As you can see, there is a strong data focus with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

A thing you need to be aware of is the seasonal harvest in October and November. Although the work is calm and mostly low-pressure throughout much of the year, this peak 2-month harvest period can be full-on so you'll need to be ready for that.

Skills & Experience

Getting up to speed in supply chain and logistics quickly probably means you've been in that sort of role before. At least as importantly, you will need to:

  • Have an eye for detail, quickly being able to spot things that "don't look right".
  • Be competent and efficient using MS Excel.
  • Be capable of gaining expertise in other software programs within a short period of time (with training and support along the way of course). If you are familiar with something like MS Power BI that's an excellent start.
  • Be an excellent communicator, with strong verbal and written skills.
  • Want to take on responsibility and use initiative
  • Work consultatively, collaborating with others in and around the supply chain team to keep things going smoothly.
  • Knowledge of horticulture is an advantage but don't be put off if you have the other skills and experiences.

It is important that you are naturally inclined to being thorough, keen-to-learn, proactive and helpful. Oh, and you'll need a great work ethic - the team are focused too, and they will be counting on you.

Benefits

Along with a starting salary that reflects your experiences and skills, Manbulloo is a growing Australian company with amazing scope for up-skilling and career growth. There is so much you can learn, and so many directions you can take that knowledge. We are interested in working with you in pursuing your career development goals as they are, and as they evolve over time. We grow if you grow too.

With an attractive salary and opportunity for growth, a highly skilled, respected and ethical team to work with, and a nice working environment in a convenient inner-suburbs location, this is a great opportunity.  If you think it's for you, apply now.
