Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Mechanic role based in Toowoomba, QLD. The Mechanic will handle day-to-day tasks such as maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles, with a focus on heavy equipment and 4x4 modifications. Additionally, they will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure high standards of service and repair workmanship.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair for automotive and heavy equipment.
- Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues in vehicles, particularly 4x4 and heavy-duty equipment.
- Knowledge and expertise in repair techniques for heavy equipment and 4x4 modifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A trade qualification or certification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with dual cab conversions, chassis extensions, or similar modifications is advantageous.
