About the role

We are looking for a full-time Fitter and Stripper to join our dynamic panel shop at Elz Collision Centre in Prestons, NSW. This hands-on role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our auto body repair services, while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

What you'll be doing

  • Disassembling vehicles to gain access to damaged areas
  • Removing and replacing damaged parts and panels
  • Stripping and preparing vehicle surfaces for repair and refinishing
  • Working closely with the panel beaters and spray painters to ensure a seamless repair process
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and industry regulations

What we're looking for

  • Several years of experience as a Fitter and Stripper in an automotive panel shop or similar environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Certification in Automotive Body Repair or relevant trade qualifications
