Your Role

As a senior member of the team, you will take a leading role in the design and delivery of architectural projects, guiding them from initial concept to completion. You will be responsible for managing the full DA life cycle, ensuring the efficient coordination, preparation, and submission of DA documentation. Collaborating directly with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams, you will translate creative visions into practical, innovative, and sustainable solutions, while overseeing project milestones, timelines, and quality standards. Your leadership will be crucial in driving project success and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Full DA Life Cycle Management:
    Lead and oversee every stage of the DA process—including conceptual design, schematic development, DA documentation preparation, submission, and ongoing coordination—to ensure seamless project progression.
  • Design Direction
    : Steer the creative design process, delivering innovative solutions that align with client needs and set new benchmarks for quality and sustainability.
  • Client Liaison:
    Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their objectives and expectations are fully understood and achieved.
  • Team and Stakeholder Coordination:
    Manage collaboration among multidisciplinary teams and external consultants, ensuring project milestones, quality standards, and deadlines are met.

What you will bring to the team

  • 10 years of studio experience in architecture in Australia
  • Degree or diploma in Architecture
  • Revit proficiency - 5 years minimum
  • Thorough understanding of NCC and Australian Standards
  • Experience in leading and managing full DA life cycle
  • Experience in delivering multi-residential/Class 2/3 buildings
  • Architect registration and D&BP registration are preferred but not required
  • Experience in seniors living industry is a plus
