Our government client is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee on-site delivery of water infrastructure related project construction activities in the Lake Cargelligo area. Reporting to the Project Manager, the role will ensure that project work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the specified quality standards.

Key accountabilities include:
  • Ensure construction works are being undertaken in line with agreed processes.
  • Complete daily site logs and observations.
  • Attend and participate in daily pre-start checks.
  • Facilitate the planning and review of required work permits in advance.
  • Undertake regular site inspections and safety walks with construction partners.
  • Provide advice and mentoring on construction related issues including HSEQ.
  • Assist in the implementation of HSEQ documentation.
  • Work closely with Assurance Lead to ensure that quality requirements are met.
  • Provide Project Manager with timely and accurate information on works status.
  • Attend various quarries where material supply is proposed to be used by the Contractor to inspect the material and operations.
  • Inspect and report on water levels in existing boreholes with supplied instruments.
Key requirements include:
  • Relevant trade qualifications or industry experience
  • Experience working on-site in construction activities, preferably bridge, earthworks or roads.
  • Experience as a supervisor on utilities and / or infrastructure projects.
  • Site-based experience supporting construction activities and contractors.
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting construction documents.
  • Experience in monitoring and inspecting works in progress.
  • Experience with commissioning construction works and new systems.
  • Experience in preparing clear and accurate reports about status of work.
  • White Card
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
This assignment is expected to run up to April 2026 with the possibility of being extended. It offers up to 50 hours per week.
