The Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport is a new dual-branded property that opened its doors on 1 July 2024. With a total of 464 rooms - 248 in Novotel Melbourne Airport and 216 in ibis Styles Melbourne Airport, this dynamic new development is just steps from Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport, offering convenience and comfort for travellers and professionals alike.

Our guests can enjoy a selection of food & beverage venues: Boccata, meaning "mouthful" in Italian, celebrates the city's migrant heritage and marries Italian favourites with local, contemporary touch.  Amber State Taphouse & Kitchen is the ideal gathering place that celebrates the joy of getting together through the Aussie tradition of barbecue and beer – with craft beers on tap, wines, and cocktails. Small holdings featuring the classic Melbourne cafe culture with a range of delightful baked pastry treats, gourmet breakfast dishes, superb sandwiches and specialty coffee.

In addition to our exceptional food and beverage venues, the Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport features premier event spaces designed to accommodate everything from intimate meetings to grand receptions. Our elegant ballroom can host up to 480 guests for a cocktail-style event or 240 for a seated banquet and can be effortlessly divided into Ballroom 1, 2, and 3, providing flexible configurations to suit any occasion, whether it's a conference, workshop, product launch, or celebration. For guests seeking a productive environment, Aerofoil, our premium co-working space, offers a stylish and comfortable setting ideal for catching up on work between flights, hosting important meetings, or staying connected on the go.

This is a village centre supporting the airport community as a place to gather and socialise for everyone who travels and works from the airport precinct.

About you

As an Assistant Front Office Manager, you will show your leadership and interpersonal strengths to maximise the Rooms Operations. You are a driven problem solver with a creative approach to delivering the ultimate guest experience.

What you will be doing?

  • Management of the day to day operation of Front Office, Telephones, and Night Audit functions.
  • Ensure service standards are maintained in the aforementioned areas.
  • Ensure profitability is maximised.
  • Ensure customer/guest and staff needs are met.

This is a Full- Time role (38 Hours per week).
