, we are looking for a
HSSE Regional Manager,
responsible for leading the implementation and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental policies across our operations in Australia.

What will you do?

  • Oversee the implementation of Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) policies across regional operations.
  • Ensure global HSSE policies are tailored to Australian HSSE laws and cultural norms.
  • Coordinate with local authorities, EPC contractors, and subcontractors to ensure full HSSE compliance on-site.
  • Share best practices and align regional efforts with corporate goals.
  • Inspect workplace for compliance (audits) with safety regulations and corporate standards.
  • Control HSSE budget and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), driving continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership, coach and mentor EHS staff, and drive continual improvement.
  • Develop and deliver HSSE training and toolbox talks to multicultural teams, ensuring awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Lead the incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with specific actions plan. Follow-up the action plans ensuring the closing of all proposed actions.
  • Work closely with all levels of the organization on safety matters and assist with legal compliance audits as necessary.
  • Monitor environmental performance (waste management, spill prevention, energy efficiency) and support ESG reporting requirements.

What do we need?

  • Strong knowledge of Australian regulations related to occupational safety and environmental compliance
  • 10 years of experience in the Health, Safety, Environmental and Regulatory work environment, preferably in construction of photovoltaic solar plants or electrical industrial businesses.
  • Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management discipline. Master's degree in Environmental Management and/or Occupational Safety.
  • Increasing responsibility in EHS management and multi-site experience.
  • Preferred certifications: Work Health and Safety (WHS) and/or VETASSESS.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40% for visiting the projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, reporting and management skills.
  • Problem-solving mind with the ability to make sound decisions, and to take on challenges.
  • Languages: English.
  • Driving license.
