About the role
selectability is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to cover the role of General Manager - Regional Development Western from 6 December 2025 to 30 January 2026. This leave coverage role requires an individual with strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to improving mental health services.
The acting general manager will work closely with the executive team, stakeholders, and community partners to ensure that selectability's services are accessible, innovative, and align with the diverse needs of the regions.
About youTo be considered for this rewarding role you will have:
- strong leadership skills and a commitment to selectability's values of accountability, commitment, compassion, innovation, integrity, positivity, and respect
- ability to build and maintain relationships with employees, stakeholders and community members
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation skills
- highly developed analytical, problem solving, and numerical skills including the ability to compile, analyse data and prepare reports
- a demonstrated high level of attention to detail with a consistent approach
- a demonstrated ability to prioritise conflicting priorities as required
- relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, mental health, or a related field (highly desirable)
- demonstrated experience in mental health, NDIS, and community services (highly desirable)
- a Child Safety & Personal History Screening check
- a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)
- a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability or obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You" completion certificate (or the ability or obtain)
The Acting General Manager – Regional Development is a fixed term position from the 6 December 2025 – 30 January 2026 based in Mount Isa.
