We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our dedicated team. This pivotal role is central to maintaining high standards of clinical governance and professional practice across the organisation.
The key focus areas and responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert clinical supervision and mentoring to staff.
- Guiding clinical governance processes and contributing strategic clinical input.
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, professional therapeutic interventions, case management, and/or dispute resolution services.
- Supporting staff development and fostering a safe environment for professional growth.
In fulfilling these areas, the Senior Practitioner will provide accountable, competent, and effective professional supervision and clinical development support across the organisation. They will collaborate closely with management and Service Managers to promote staff well-being and ensure ethical practice aligned with RA Tas values. Their leadership will extend to participating in or leading supervision practice meetings and communities of practice.
In addition, the Senior Practitioner will provide critical clinical advice on governance matters, lead reviews of service quality, assist staff with risk assessments and debriefing, and contribute clinical expertise to new business opportunities and program development.
Do you fit the bill
- Relevant degree (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, FDR) coupled with significant high-level experience in therapeutic interventions, case management, or dispute resolution services.
- Demonstrated experience in providing clinical supervision and mentoring, preferably in relevant settings.
- Proven ability in complex case management, risk assessment (including child safety and family violence), ethical decision-making, and applying trauma-informed approaches.
- Strong clinical leadership potential, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team while also functioning independently.
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with a diverse range of clients.
