
Mission Systems Engineering Lead

Tell me about this role:
We are currently looking for an NV1 security cleared Engineering Lead to join our team on a permanent basis. This position will lead and coordinate the development and implementation of rapidly iterative and interchangeable Mission Systems and Software for Autonomous and Collaborative Platforms.

What will I be doing day to day?
- Provide SME-level technical understanding of the current and planned MQ-28 Mission Systems and Software implementation
- Deliver SME briefs on Autonomy and Architectures to Enterprise stakeholders
- Derive/assess requirements for future Mission System and Software roadmaps, including platform and digital/simulation environments
- Establish, coordinate and lead working groups required to track and manage the multi-disciplinary efforts
Ensure specialist Engineering Services have been delivered in accordance with the project/product plan
Engineering planning and management
- Requirements management to meet customer needs
- Review and assessment of supplier/stakeholder deliverables
- Risk, Issue and Opportunity identification and management
What sort of skills do I need?
- Experience operating within the Air Combat enterprise including liaison with AFHQ and enabling agencies such as DSTG etc
- Previous experience with Autonomy Software
- Previous experience with implementation of Mission Systems and Software Architectures
- Strong communication skills
- Process orientated with good attention to detail
- Minimum NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen)
