About The Team
The Client Architecture team under Intelligent Video is dedicated to building industry-leading live streaming, video-on-demand, and real-time communication (RTC) solutions for TikTok. We focus on the transmission network and multimedia processing in the mobility SDK, and we also build data foundation and analysis capabilities, drive product refined operation, reduce costs and increase efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Developing mobile audio and video features in vod&live player and pusher SDK, and continuously improving performance.
- Participate in feature requirements reviewing, code writing, and performance optimization using the latest AI and multimedia technologies.
- Participate in formulation of coding specifications, improvement of software development productivity;
- Participate in construction of automation testing systems, to ensure the quality and stability of SDK;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven solutions into mobile multimedia workflows, and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and multimedia processing.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Recent graduates or have graduated strictly within the last 12 months before onboarding in 2026 with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Solid experience in writing and reviewing code in mobile C/C++/Java
- Familiarity with at least one mobile development and debugging environment, such as iOS or Android
- Familiarity with audio and video processing systems in iOS or Android
- Basic knowledge of AI or machine learning concepts, or willingness to learn and apply AI technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent debugging/troubleshooting abilities
- Passion for self-studying and staying up-to-date with relevant technologies, including AI and multimedia.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to take ownership and responsibility
- Experience with multimedia technologies including media processing, audio and video codecs, network protocols
- Knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles
- Exposure to AI-powered video or audio processing, computer vision, or natural language processing technologies.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
