KPay Group Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (On-site)
KPay Group (KPay) is a leading fintech company dedicated to empowering businesses of all sizes with simple, smart, seamless, and secure technology solutions. Serving over 72,000 merchants across Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Australia, KPay is unleashing merchants' growth potential by building a one-stop platform for financial management, business operations and digital transformation. KPay secured a record USD55 million in 2024, marking the largest series A fundraise globally in the payments sector of the year.
Role Overview
KPay is seeking a sharp, analytical, and proactive Data & Growth Intelligence Associate to power our growth engine. This role sits at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable intelligence that directly influences our merchant acquisition strategy and fuels our Telesales and Channel Partnership teams.
Your mission is to ensure we are not just data-rich but insight-driven. You will own the entire data lifecycle—from sourcing and cleansing to analysis and strategic recommendation—to answer our most critical business questions and identify new growth opportunities. This is a high-impact opportunity for a data-savvy individual who wants to see their work directly drive company revenue and shape our go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Growth Intelligence & Strategic Proposals:
- Analyze lead source performance, conversion funnels, and sales channel efficiency to identify key trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities.
- Synthesize data into clear, compelling insights and
present strategic proposals
to leadership on topics such as optimal resource allocation, new segment entry, and channel expansion. - Own the company's core growth dashboards, providing a real-time view of performance against targets and leading indicators.
2. End-to-End Data Sourcing & Management:
- Manage and execute data sourcing initiatives,
including coordinating with the tech team on
web crawling projects
and evaluating external data providers. - A strong plus is the ability to personally perform data crawling and scraping
to proactively build new lead pipelines. - Maintain the central lead database, implementing rigorous processes for data cleansing, deduplication, and enrichment to ensure the highest data quality.
3. Data Operations & Sales Enablement:
- Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards to track KPIs across all growth channels (Telesales, Channel Partners, Street Sales).
- Build and refine lead scoring models to ensure our highest-value prospects are prioritized and routed to the right sales channel.
- Partner directly with sales teams to understand their challenges and eliminate data-related friction in their workflow.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a data analytics, business intelligence, or growth operations role. We value aptitude and a proven track record of using data to drive decisions over years of experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) is essential.
- Experience with data crawling/scraping tools (e.g., Python, Scrapy, Selenium, Phantombuster) is a strong plus.
- A highly analytical and curious mindset. You don't just report numbers; you diagnose root causes and uncover the "why."
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and
strategic recommendations
for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
What We Offer
- The opportunity to own a critical function and see your insights directly translate into revenue growth.
- Significant strategic impact and exposure to company leadership.
- Hands-on experience in a high-growth fintech environment.
- A clear path for career advancement in Data, Operations, or Growth.
