The Role

As a Counter Manager at the Elizabeth Arden counter you will provide exceptional customer service by educating customers through makeup application and product knowledge and lead a team of inspired Beauty Advisors. As a permanent part time Counter Manager at David Jones Queens Plaza, you will need to work approximately 30 hours per week and be available for Thursday evenings & weekend trade.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and meet targets;
  • Lead and manage a team of beauty advisors;
  • Educate customers in the features and benefits of specific product ranges; and
  • Work on a roster basis, including weekends and extended retail trading hours. A minimum availability of Thursday, Friday and Saturday is required.

Skills and Experience

  • Cosmetic or skincare experience essential, coupled with makeup qualification;
  • Management experience;
  • Product selling experience;
  • New customer recruitment skills/cold calling sales experience
  • An understanding and/or experience in a consultative sales processes
  • A deep interest in skincare

    Beauty experience or qualification highly regarded
  • Previous retail experience is a must and working to targets & KPIs;
  • Excellence in customer service along with the ability to be well organized and reliable; and
  • Have immaculate grooming.
