Due to company growth and increasing number of projects, WA flooring Pty Ltd is looking for a Commercial Floor Finisher to join our team. We are looking for someone who possess the following skills and experience:

· Have at least 5 years of experience in the field as a Floor Finisher

· Have the relevant trade qualification such as Cert III in Flooring Technology or similar

· Ability to work independently as well as in teams to complete tasks

· Ability to communicate effectively with team, site managers and clients

· Knowledge of safety practices

· Is willing to travel Australia-wide to complete projects

· Have a valid and clean driving licence

Key responsibilities for the role:

· Measuring and cutting material to suit the specific job in hand

· Preparing surfaces for flooring installation

· Cutting material into its final position without defects

· Installing / lay / fit floor coverings

· Finishing, trimming and sealing floors

· Liase with site managers and organise workflow

· Lead a team of installers

· Vast knowledge of flooring materials and flooring conditions

· Exercise quality control of work being carried out
