Assistant Manager

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated, experienced Assistant Manager to be a key part of the future success of the high profile and volume food, beverage, function and gaming venue.

The Club has modern facilities including restaurant, coffee shop, multiple bars and function areas, TAB, Keno and gaming machines.  

This hands' on role working with the Venue Manager is responsible for the leadership, management and day-to-day operations of the licensed venue.

The ideal applicant will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to develop, motivate and manage a successful team
  • Strong HR skills
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • Sound knowledge of food, beverage, functions, gaming operations, and legislative requirements
  • Experience ensuring the venue meets all compliance requirements
  • Management experience in comparable sized hospitality operations, in particular licensed clubs and hotels with large volume food, beverage and function operations as well as gaming operations
  • Hold relevant gaming and liquor licensing certificates
