Senior Guidewire Developer"
to work on significant project for our esteemed client.

About the Role

We are seeking a
skilled Guidewire Developer
with hands-on experience in
Guidewire PolicyCenter
to design, develop, and implement insurance solutions that drive business transformation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in Guidewire configuration and integration, combined with an understanding of insurance domain workflows and policy lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, configure, and implement
    Guidewire PolicyCenter
    solutions to meet business and functional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain
    Gosu scripts
    , PCF screens, data model extensions, and business rules.
  • Integrate PolicyCenter with external systems using
    SOAP/REST web services
    , messaging, and plugins.
  • Customize product models, rating, underwriting, and policy transactions (submission, renewal, cancellation, reinstatement, rewrite, etc.).
  • Perform system configuration and develop reusable components and accelerators for the Guidewire ecosystem.
  • Work closely with
    Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and QA teams
    to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
  • Support defect analysis, performance optimization, and production deployment activities.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and guide junior developers as needed.
  • Adhere to best practices for coding standards, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.

Technical Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • 3–7 years of total experience
    , with
    2+ years in Guidewire PolicyCenter
    implementation or enhancement projects.
  • Strong proficiency in
    Gosu programming
    and
    Guidewire configuration
    (entities, typelists, PCF, rules, and workflows).
  • Experience in
    integration frameworks
    — messaging, SOAP/REST APIs, plugins, event messaging.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Guidewire 10.x or higher
    preferred.
  • Good understanding of
    PolicyCenter data model
    , product model configuration, and policy transactions.
  • Familiarity with
    SQL
    ,
    Java
    ,
    XML
    , and related technologies.
  • Experience with
    Agile/Scrum
    delivery models.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with
    Guidewire Cloud Platform (GCP)
    or cloud migration projects.
  • Knowledge of
    ClaimCenter
    or
    BillingCenter
    integration touchpoints.
  • Exposure to
    insurance domain
    – especially policy lifecycle, rating, underwriting, and product management.
  • Familiarity with tools such as
    Git, Jenkins, Maven, JIRA, and Bitbucket
    .
