We are partnering with a highly regarded national consultancy to recruit a Specialist Health & Safety Advisor to join their Sydney-based advice team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their WHS career in a people-focused, fast-paced environment where culture, growth, and client service are key.

About the Role

Working as part of a high-performing WHS Advice team, you will be the go-to expert for complex queries and play a key role in coaching and supporting Coordinators and Advisors. This position is well suited to someone who thrives on collaboration, is calm under pressure, and is ready to step up from a WHS Coordinator or Advisor role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely and accurate WHS advice to clients via phone and email
  • Acting as an escalation point for more complex matters
  • Shadowing, mentoring, and assessing junior team members
  • Assisting with developing and refining WHS documentation, SOPs, and risk tools
  • Delivering training and contributing to internal knowledge resources
  • Supporting the Advice Manager as a key team lead, with opportunities for progression

This is a full-time, office-based role in a centrally located Sydney CBD office.

About You

You're a confident communicator with a strong foundation in WHS and a natural ability to coach and support others. You bring a balanced mix of technical knowledge and people skills, with the ability to tailor advice and documentation to different client needs.

To be successful, you will have:

  • 3+ years' experience in a WHS advisory, coordination, or similar role
  • Cert IV in WHS (a Diploma is highly regarded)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a busy, client-facing environment
  • A positive, team-oriented mindset with a proactive, learning-focused attitude
