Full-time Experience Hairdresser Required

HAIR DAY is looking for full-time experience hairdresser to join us.

Successful applicant is expected to act as a hairdresser, with the following duties:

 Providing advice on hair care, beauty products and hairstyles;

 Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps;

 Colouring, straightening and permanently waving hair with chemical solutions;

 Design and perform creative haircuts;

 Cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors;

 Styling hair into dreadlocks and braids and adding hair extensions;

 Clean, colour, cut and style wigs and hairpieces;

 Combine structures for current haircut design;

 Design and apply classic long hair up styles;

 Work as a session stylist;

 Coordinate work teams;

 Lead and manage people;

 Provide work skill instruction;

 Plan, organise and facilitate learning in the workplace;

 Cleaning work areas and sanitising instructions;

 Arranging appointments and collecting payments.

Salary: $77,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year

Skills and Experience:

 AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in

hairdressing, OR at least three years' relevant work experience.

 Bubbly and friendly;

 Passionate and committed to the hairdressing industry;

 Takes responsibility and is accountable;

 Reliable, punctual and honest;

 Flexible and good time management skills;

 Fluent in English with good communication skills
